I have a Fluval canister filter and i was wondering how u change the media without getting water everywhere. Is there an easy way to get the water out of it when u turn it off?
do u have the newer MSF models or the old fluvals? the newer ones have a shut off valve to keep water from getting everywhere the older fluvals dont have that, so u might just to pull out the siiphon tube
No the old ones have valves on the hoses ,just shut them to the "OFF" position !!! Did this to my "403" and my "203" no problems for me , just open the top EASY ....
