How to clean aggressive tank?

I know I can stir up the sand when I do water changes, but is there anything else that will live in a tank with a trigger that will help with the cleanup? I've tried a couple different snails and crabs, but they don't last an hour. The trigger eats them.

I bought large hermit crabs (electric blue) and the other one is red legged. My trigger has chewed some legs off of the blue one, but he keeps on truckin'.

put your hand in very very carefully!
could replace it with a triggers tank

I keep a very large silver scat(he eats anything) in my 125 as a cleaner I had to copper the tank once so no normal cleaner crews will survive in it
also a bi colored foxface for algae control,the rest are meat eaters
