How to compress picture size

I have tried in vain to figure out how to compress a picture to meet the requirements but have had no luck. Can someone please help me. I do not know if it is the software or just me but the only option I see that messes with the picture size is related to pixels (from like 620 to 320 I think). Anyway I have a fujifilm digital and only have the software that came with the camera. No photo shop or anything of that sort (that I know of). I would really like to post some pictures to get feed back on my tank so any help would be great. Thanks, Ags

save the pic as what you want to save it as. load it, and click the small square in the bottom right. drag until it is the desired size. overwrite the file as the thing you saved it as. now you have a resized pic.

also, make sure it is a jpg or gif and not a bmp, that will cut the file size by like 90%

72 pixels per inch is pretty standard....use jpeg/jpg always.......much smaller in file size. I personally find that pics at 6-7 inches at 72 pixels per inch in jpeg format usually fit nicely, but that's just me. If you have no software......I would bet typing "free online photo resizer" into a good search engine, such as google, would bring up several sources of free online picture editors.
