how to cure rock?

i just bought a box of base rock. what is a good easy way to cure it and for how long? i got 50 lbs of it.

curing base rock? you mean live rock? anyways first you scrub the rock down, then fill up a trashcan with salt water and lay the rocks in and have a few powerheads running, make shure theres plenty of movement, then just do normal water changes. but if you ment making base rock into live rock,, that just takes time.

this is base rock and i know it will take time to be live rock. but how do i prep it to go into tank?

you dont need to cure base rock. Just wash it with ro water.
