How to feed a CC Starfish

I just picked up a chocolate chip starfish, and was curious what you guys consider to be the best way to feed it. Amount? Duration? Selection? etc!
Many thanks in advance!

Let me just ask you this. Are you planning on haveing a reef or do you have any corals?
Anyways When I had mine before I sold him, I put some alge strips bext to him and hold it their until he finds it.

better is what they dont eat. My cc eats anything and everything its near. the sad thing is when my clown died from my pump and then when i tried to get it out the cc was on top eating it.

Mine used to love being at the top of the tank. I'd bring a piece of dried shrimp, or some crab from the supermarket, or pretty much anything near it's arm closest to the surface, and it would bend back, then I'd just lay the food on the arm, and watch it go to town.

I had my for three years in my reef tank. I feed him twice a week with suppermarket bought littleneck clams he loves them. The lady at the fish counter doesn't even charge for them, I ask for any that are broken since the star is going to eat them anyway. I also feed him frozen silversides. I just place one under his body and he's happy.
