How to feed hammer and trumpet coral?

These are my first corals and I am unclear on how to feed them, with trumpet corals do you syringe the food into each head or into one head and it travels through the coral ?
Now with hammer coral do you just place a peice of finely chopped silver side or shrimp on the coral and it pulls it in?
Also feel free to tell me any tips on what you found that was helpful when keeping these corals. Thanks for any help.

At night the trumpet will put out tentacles, try and get a piece of mysis to each head. you can just squirt a few pieces of mysis into the hammer. (some hammer corals simply don't eat, but thats OK) keep the hammer in low flow
