how to feed lion fish

i have my volitan for 2 weeks now it only eat feeder fish i try to feed it with feeder stick but it won't take it and how often should i feed it?

I feed mine evry other day (silver slides) but sometimes he gets a little extra when he snatches up a full cube of emerald entrese.what type of feeder fish are you feeding him?please dont say goldfish(they are not good for sw fish at all)

where can i get silversides... i been looking for a while?.. i can't find it the store where i live

took me fore4ver too but then i fianlly asked my lfs and come to find out they always carried them lol.talk about having a blonde moment.if you catn find them in your lfs try online.is wish i could buy them live nut it seams no one carries them live

i also looking for a live silversides... so no ones carry em.. i guess my only option is damsel... its going to be expensive..............

if you live in CA i'm sure you got a ***** around where you live. they sell silversides. also i feed mine krill. you are gonna have to feed him feeder fish until he starts eating them as soon as they touch the water. then start tricking him and throw in a piece of krill or silverside. after that you won't have a problem.

Most lfs sell silversides frozen. Just ask, they should have several different frozen fish foods. You can feed him ghost shrimp until he will eat the frozen food. I also bought raw frozen seafood mix at walmart in the meat department. Try putting in front of the powerhead. I tricked mine that way, and he eats anything I offer now.
