How to frag these? (palythoa grande?)

I have a rock with now 9-10 polyps of what I believe is palythoa grande, I would like to frag a few of these and glue them to another rock so I can start another colony. How do I do this, can I simply cut the stem like area of it and then glue them to a rock? I know these have some sort of poison in them also, if I wear gloves and goggles I would imagine I would be fine.

you're better off cutting the matt that connects the polyps. and if you can, get some of the rock off as well--makes it easier to glue to the new rock.
i'd honestly wait till you have more than 10 polyps though... you can lose polyps in the tank if the glue doesnt keep them there and then you'd be short
