Splitting alot of times is not a good sign.. I am not an expert but from what i know alot of times they split when they are stressed or in a trying condition... I had 4 BTAs in my tank and i have had them probable 9months and one has already split so duh I know have 5 but it happened after a tank move like 3 or 4 days later so i believe it happened bc of the move

First... why is the color gone? The only way to get a bleached anenome's color back is to correct the issue that made it bleach. Basically it loosing all of its Zooxanthellae because there is a deficiency somewhere in your tank. Poor water conditions lighting etc... its stressed and this is a side effect of it. Track down the source feed it often and small quantities and it should regain its color again. Anywhere from 3 to 6 months.
Getting it to split at this stage IMO is dangerous... I wouldnt recomend it just yet. However there are a couple of different ways to do it if you should want too. First and most dangerous is manual splitting, cutting through the anenome with a very sharp razor directly in half splitting the mouth. (not recomended for the novice) and secondly is frequent feedings every day small portions for a couple of weeks and then a large water change. It somehow jump starts the cloning process. Good luck.
