how to install a new tank

im new in the hobby and i want to know what do i need to set u p a 55 or bigger tank...what light is the best what should i use sand or crush coral.what kind of filter s should i use any information is valuable....thanks so much.... <img src="graemlins//urrr.gif" border="0" alt="[urrr]" />

I'd go with sand over crushed coral any day of the week.
