How to Mount Xenia?

I am going to be getting some pulsing xenia frags unmounted on friday. I was wondering what method I should use to attach the frags?

Rubber band works, super glue gel has been known to work. However what I have done in the past is stick a toothpick through near the bottom base part and use rubber band to attach them to a rock.
