How to quarantine a lawnmower blenny

My lfs finally got a lawnmower blenny in and I was just wondering how I can quarantine this guy if I decide to get him. I've read that they need lots of live rock so they can eat the algae, but I've also read that they will sometimes accept algae sheets. Should I just put him in my dt without quarantining him or should I quarantine him for 3 weeks while trying to feed him algae sheets? I don't want the little guy to starve in quarantine.

Just feed him algae sheets and watch for any signs of starvation. Although if he eats it all there shouldn't be a problem.

Try the algae sheets. Do you have a large enought tank with LR and algae to support this fish?

I have a 100G with 80 pounds of live rock right now. That should be enough right? I also don't have much of an algae clean up crew right now (3 turbos, couple hermits, some other random hitchers). The guy I'm thinking about getting is pretty small, like 2-3 inches.
