How to raise PH?

Ok. Quick question about PH...I have a 10 G. HT with a racoon B/F and a small clownfish in it right now...just checked water and everything is fine except my PH is like 7.9!!! I read about how to increase it slowly using sodium bicarbonate but it's not budging at all...I've added 2-3 TBSP. already and still sitting at 7.9! I've just finished a 5 day treatment of Maracyn...could that be why the PH is so low? I wanted to move these guys back to the main tank today but my main tank has a PH of 8.2...will this be too much of a shock to them? Thanks for any help!!

Alrighty then...I just did a search and found out that I won't see the change in PH for at least 24 hours...Hmmm...Now I have to worry thaw I've put in too MUCH baking soda and my PH will sky rocket tomorrow! Any suggestions on saving my fish from a drastic change in PH? Maybe a small water change? but I'd have to wait for the water to sit overnight anyway, huh? Any suggestions? Thanks!
