after reducing the size of my sump i notice that the 1.5" bulkhead was leaking and i can not remove it with the biggest visegrip i can find. i know there is a rubber holder great for removing anything where can i buy it and will it work?
Is the bulkhead slip or thread? Do you need to reuse the bulkhead or can ya toss it?
I use those rubber vise things.... they work great for many things, but I don't see how I could use it on a bulkhead sucessfully.

i use both it does not work for me beacuse of space .i need to buy a new one and cut the faulty one
If you need to put a screwdriver or chisel against it and hit it with a hammer. Mine have little indents in them for gripping and you can put a flat edge in them,
If the bulkhead is double slip, glue some PVC in there with cement and try to use those "levers" with a vise grip. Threaded you could use long threaded nipples to do the same.
