i read beths post earlier its at the top of disease forum, might be helpful. it answered most of the questions i had. it even explains hypo treatment, which seems to be successful treatment depending on tankmates.

Fix, it is very common mistake that hobbyist make all the time, so don't feel dump. I also say FAQ hoping all will know what I am talking about.
