I was wondering how to syphon out the crushed coral and put in live sand, how much sand will i need to do this too. there are no fish in the tank and i haven't cycled the tank yet. After i put the sand into the tank i will then start cycling. Can someone please help?

Well you could get a large diameter hose, like 3/4, place one end in a large tub and the other in the tank. Use this one for siphoning. Get a pump and put it in the tub away from the hose end of the siphoning tube. Put a pipe back to your tank for the pump. Start the siphoning, turn on the pump. As you siphon the water and CC out the pump will reutnr the water to the tank...
