How would a Peacock Mantis do with 2 Lionfish?

I want to get another 90g tank for my birthday this year, and I can't decide what to put in it, maybe 2 lionfish and I was wondering if a Peacock Mantis would kill them, or vice versa?

I would be quite worried about the two lions with the mantis. Mantis shrimp are nasty and I have no doubt that one could rip up a lion's tail.

i've always been told it's a no-go. there's not too many things that can live w/ a mantis. course i'd love to be wrong cause i've always wanted to put a lionfish in there w/ me mantis.

Definately a no-no. They need a species only tank.
I've kept aprox. 5-6 mantis in my length as a hobbiest and most of those have been Peacocks.
They get big and aggressive and do not do well with tank mates. I've tried to keep them with various fish...everything from Damsels to tiny Triggers...doesnt work.
I had a 1.5" Humu Trigger kill a 6" Peacock one time...couldnt believe it.

On top of that, for a mantis shrimp there is no such thing as enough food. If something is in the tank that even remotely bothers it, it'll go after it, no matter if it's fed well enough. Hell, if YOU stand outside the tank too long the mantis will try to get through the tank and get you. And it can probably take you down, too. And as to the lionfish being venomous, I've seen my mantis take down a blue ring oct too, and it felt just fine and dandy later. You can't stop these little buggers.

Triggers.... the mantis killers. I too had the mantis/trigger combo. Both about 4" long. One day the trigger got hunger or mad or was just being a jerk and no more peacock mantis

In the end no. A friend of mine had a mantis in his tank for near 2 years with no fatalities. Shortly after adding a Sargassum Trigger, his first fish was taken out. The trig perched too close to the little monsters crevice, and got it's head smashed in.
