I put this post in equipment and DIY as well.
I'm finally picking up my 72 Gallon Oceanic bow front with overflows and returns! Problem is now what to do with the sump. At one point I had a plan, now I have changed my mind nearly a billion times. I am going with a DSB, a skimmer and lots of live rock if that helps any. So if you were setting up a soon to be show REEF tank, what kind of setup(media and such)would you use in the sump? I have a 29 gallon for a refugium that will be T'd into one of the overflow tubes with a gate valve to adjust flow and it will overflow into the sump. Thats about the only thing I am sure of. Along with that I'll be using a Mag7 for the return pump.
