hey ric everythings fine - he stays logged in and checks in several times a day but doesnt feel like doin alot of typing. he's having spot fevers because the rituximab in his chemo is messing with his system, others give him nausea and he's tired alot so he's been asleep alot today thanx for your prayers

alright he had chemo thursday and friday , this round of chemo they are trying the chop therapy which is the one they did with his first round of cancer in oct '05 he is allergic to it (as alot of people are)so he has seizures on day 1,which the industrial strength benadryl covers pretty well .day 2 was short and all went well ,they gave him the calcium reduction treatment which tends to cause him pain .the second round of cancer aug.'06 they did e harp(sharp ?) but it appears that didnt do anything .the doctor says they cant do radiation on it because it is buried inside of his body, if the radiation was strong enough to reach the tumor it would burn the surrounding tissues so its not an option .his loss of appetite nausea and vomitting are my main concerns he weighs 155 right now which is tiny for a 6'2 frame . he wont eat and when he does he throws it up the nausea

only work if he takes it as first twinge , but most of the time it has been to late because strong odors (like food cooking )make him sick . like was said in an earlier post he has been sleeping alot if i had to give a number it would be 18-20 hrs a day that scares me too..anyways thanx everyone for your prayers and well wishes...jenny and tobin

i'm off to the doctors in a few minutes, had fever the last 2 days been in bed a lot doin ok i guess...tobin

just got back from the doc , last night tobin ran a 101.5 fever off and on and took him to the doc today the bloodwork indicated his white blood cell count is very low and he has an infection of some sort , his condition is not good right now and he isnt as ambulatory as he could be so we got him a walker i never imagined at 43 he would be in a walker but thats the way it turned out ,in a few weeks we will be moving to midland because i can no longer afford my house which upsets me , i grew up in this house, we will be moving in with family, but on the up side we will be closer to his doctor and our favorite lfs , we will be offline for a little while , i couldnt tell ya how long maybe a few weeks but that wont be till we move, anyone know how to move a 150 gal tank with sand rocks fish inverts,baby corals and a 55 sump???? let me have some pointers ok...jenny

Jenny, I moved my 210 so when the time comes let me know and I'll give ya plenty of pointers. Takes work, but you can do it. Do you have a Home Depot nearby? Mine here sells 5 gallon buckets with lids for like $6. The key, though, is that they told me I could bring them back as long as they were in "like" new condition after I used them. See if you can get the same deal.
