How's my set-up folks?

Hey i'm new to the forum (registered today finally!!) and I was wondering what you guys thought about my current set-up. Tank has been up for about a month and a half. 30g tank.
Tests: Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate ~2ppm
Set-up:
2x 65w pc 50/50
aquaclear 70 powerhead (540 gph)
heater
filter dating back to 1912

24lbs LR 15lbs LS (getting 20 more lbs LR soon)
Fish: blue chromis (1)
Inverts: cbs, 7 zebra/red/blueleg hermits, emerald crab (1), bumblebee snail (2), turbo (1), Cerith (2)
Coral: green favites (top of rock close to light), green mushrooms, green eye zoos, orange rimmed zoos.
So any suggestion would help greatly. I am thinking about buying a protein skimmer (seaclone 100) - would this be a good idea? Let me get some feedback from you pros

Welcome!!! I'm a newbie so I don't have much advice for you except what was pounded into my head when I started....don't overstock and also don't overfeed

At most I plan on having 4 fish. My blue chromis, 2 clownfish (soon), and maybe a firefish/6linewrasse/goby/royal gramma duno which one yet.
As far as feeding...I feed frozen mysis once every 3 days, zooplankton once every 3 days, and dainichi veggie reef pellets daily (about 3 pellets per day). I don't think I am overfeeding, but I would love advice/comments. Thanks!
