Well let me start by saying I have been reading these posts for about a month now. This is my first post. I have just started (5 weeks old ) a 24 g jbj nano. I am wanting to have a little more light for coral ect... I was looking at the the one from nanotuners that offer a retrofit for my hood that include a 70w mh bulb and ballast. I want to keep the stock look of my tank but want to upgrade a bit. I havea few zoos tha came on the rock and about 5 hermits and a emerald crab. I also have 3 snails. Thats about it my tank has cycled.

all llooks to be in order. I would like to know. Does anyone have any knowledge of htere DYI kits? is it worth the $$ for the MH bulbs over my stock 72 watts of pc bulbs? thank you. I have learned alot from reading your posts. I will get picks on here soon. I have 20 lbs of lr and a cc bed.Thanks.
