HQI MH's vs regular mogul MH's

Anyone have any information on the advantages/disadvantages of the double ended HQI versus regular one sided mogul MH. I am considering a unit with 2-250 watt Double ended HQI MH's, and 4 t5 bulbs, would this be good enough to reach the bottom of the tank. My tank is 30 inches deep, 48 inches long, and 18 inches deep.

HQI bulbs have much higher light output that moguls. Here is an approximate comparison:
70w HQI = 150/175 Mogul
150w HQI = 250w Mogul
250w HQI = 400w Mogul

HQI are brighter but they don't cover a big area compare to mogul bulbs.
