Hoping he listens! His birthday is coming and I was thinking of getting him something for his new tank. Anyone who has been reading his threads pretty much knows what we have. I have heard him talk about metal hylides instead of the lights we have. Since I know nothing (and want to keep it as close this this as possible LOL) about the tank set up, I thought I could get him these, but he just bought the retrofit light kit and I didn't know if these were just different types of bulbs that would fit into this or if I would have to buy a whole new lighting kit. Since this is so new to us, if anyone has a suggestion as to what he might get really geeked out about for the tank, please let me know. Feel free to just PM me so he doesn't necessarily have to see it, since he's probably being nosey and reading this anyway!
