Huge Lionfish

I was at a fish store in the lehigh valley called Tanks 2U. They have some nice stuff. I was looking at the fish and came accross a tank with a huge lionfish in it. When I say huge it was all of 14 to 16 inches in length. I never seen a lionfish this big. I sort of feel bad for the fish beacuse the store aint that nice. The tank the fish was in was a little under sized it looked to be about a 55 gallon tank or a little bigger. But this was one awsome fish. Perfect in coler and perfect fins. If I had the place to put this fish it would be in the proper size tank. I wish I had a picture to post to show every one.

id love to see a pic too. its sorry what lfs do to large fish like that. make you really want to buy them just to get then out of that small of a tank.

I can only tell you this. It was a awsom sight to see a lionfish that big. I have never in my life seen one that big. I feel sorry for the poor fish in such a small tank.

Yeah, its awesome sight to see big lions! I went to seaworld and saw like 8 HUGE volitan lions(but they where in a bigger tank)

These fish get huge and it pains me to see people putting these fish into 55 gal aquariums.
Sad part is the little 3" pipsqueek you find at the pet store will turn into a 13-15" fish eating monster in 12-16months.

How much did they want for it??
That fish wouldn't do well in a 55g by itself?
