I have had one for several months, he's cool as they get. He was the last fish I added, and he will be the last one to move over to a new 125. I have heard all the warnings, when he gets older he will kill everything. My plan is to have a couple of tanks and move him around periodically. Great personality!

I had one for about 2 years. Very cool fish for the first 23 months or so. Then one day he just snapped and killed my V Lion that was 5 times his size. He then went after my striped burrfish and started picking the spikes and skin off of his back. At that point it was time for him to get traded in.
One thing I've seen from a LOT of people on the boards is that with pretty much all triggers, but with the Humu in particular is that it is not a matter of IF it will snap but a matter of WHEN it will snap.

I absolutely love my humu, BUT he is the meanest fish i have ever seen. I have a 125 reef now, and had to move him into a 55g by himself cause i didnt want to get rid of him. If i have to put my arm in the tank for anything he just keeps biting me constantly, No Fear whatsoever. But they are awesome to look at and definitely have a ton of personality.
