Huma Trigger Stirring Sand: Help

I have a huma trigger around 4 inches long that i put in my 125 tank just today. He is been very overly active and stirring the sand from under the rocks and also swallowing it and spitting it out (like what an engineer goby would do).
As a result my tank is cloudy all the time. Is this a usual behavior or is it because he is in a new tank? I am kinda getting little frustrated now.
Please suggest or recommend and ideas on what to do. Thanks

Thats what Humas do....He is just looking for food, thats why I prefer "thicker" substrate with Triggers and Puffers, like crushed coral.

Yip, their right. My humu humu Roy always playing in the CC. I am so glad that I have CC on the bottom of my tank. Although he takes and spits the rocks out all over the LR and the corals I have in there. The other day he was busy in one of the caves and on the outside of the cave is a big pile of CC now about 2 to 3 inches high. Not sure what he was after.

So do you guys suggest crushed coral for tanks with triggers? How about the waste buildup that goes along with CC?

I dont suggest CC , just go with a larger size grain of sand and it won't cloud up as bad or at all . I have just herd too many nightmares about ditrius build up in the CC and tanks crashing due to it . That and IMO crushed coral is kinda ugly .

Your tank shouldn't be getting cloudy from the trigger spitting or blowing sand. I would leave as is. If there is that much detritus laying in/on your sand bed, the trigger is doing you a favor by suspending it in the water culumn where it can eventually be removed
