how big do these usually get, and how long does it take? they have some babies at the LFS (like 0.5" long) and he said i could raise one until it was too big for the tank, then bring it back and trade it in. cause i think they are really cool. but how big and how long?
well hes gonna let them stay with him for a little while to make sure they are doin good, then sell them... and the thing i like about the store is if the fish dies within a couple weeks, come get another... mainly because none of their fish die. they will not sell unhealthy fish
He'll probably die if you put him in the 20. They have a rough time at that size anyways and are hard to keep. A 20 gallon isn't a sutible home for any trigger.
