should be fine just know it will be a pain to feed the eel with that trigger

This is very true. I have to swat at the glass to scare my wrasse and tangs so they don't grab the food off the stick. Will be hard to do this with a humu since they really don't get afraid of anything.

Well, i've tried to feed the eel which came into the tank on Friday afternoon and it hasn't eaten since i've got him. The eel is active and swims around and explores but backs away when I try to feed him. Is this just due to the stress of the new tank. Also, the trigger really hasn't been bothering him.

you ususally only need to feed eels once or twice a week. And wouldnt really make a difference if its swimming around or not, some just do while getting acclimated.

ahhh. When my eel was smaller Id drop in a cube of mysis and he would swim up to it and get some while the trigger was eating. I also used freeze dried krill just waving it in front of its face. Eel that small wont do any damage to a finger. Just hand feed it.

Snowflake eels can hold their own. When he's hungry he'll go get it. And I feed mine 4 days a week, bugger grew fast too.
