hungry clown

I was just reading that if your clown is throwing up the substrate and stirring up the tank it means they are hungry. Is this true?

IMO Clowns are ALWAYS hungry. Mine do the same thing, and are doing great, I wouldn't worry about it.
I feed mine every other day.
