hydor flo

Hi all,
I just installed the hydor flo head with the maxi jet 900 powerhead. I was wondering if anyone who has a similar setup has a issue with some flow coming behind the hydor flo. It also does not sit flush with the back plastic part of the nanocube, is this normal? Also I am pretty sure it is tightly fitted together but I am getting a minimal amount of backflow from the hydor flo head. Its a great attachment but the directions are useless. I found at least two attachments that fit the nanocube dx, but is there one specific one which is correct?

Also had another question. Is the nozzle supposed to spin automatically with the force of the water coming through the powerhead or is the 360 degree feature on the hydor flo supposed to be strictly manually adjustable.....anyone ideas, answers, suggestions....please?
don't make me bump it :jumping:

I have one for the jbj nano dx you will have to fiddle to figure out which one works. there is only one. and it barely works. Mine sits pretty loose, but it works. I do like it alot though. Just keep messing with it.

ok...i fiddled with it a bit and it now spinning...I guess I expected a more "flush" look with the back of the tank...anyway looks good.

I have a hydro flo on my nano and it sits out about 1/2" to 3/4" for the back of the tank. I also put the maxie jet 900 on but felt that it was to much flow. It blow everything apart so I which back the the 160 pump. It does spin on it's own, but one morning my wasn't and a snail had wedge itself in it so keep a check on it. You can switch the adapters around different ways.
