i have heard that they are excellent. i would get a 2 or 3, but the 1 cost 60 dollars here!

400 is kinda harsh for a small tank. you would be better off getting 2 smaller ones. im running an aquaclear20 and a 30 at opposite corners with the hydor rotating attachment. its a completely random flow patter since they flow at different rates. (spins based on the flow rate) and its working perfect for me.
if you go with just one pump thats really powerful youll just get a really rough spot maybe get some sand kciked up and might still have dead spots too.
