hydor koralia question, need an answer quick please.

just bought a HK and opened the box and found it was missing the fish-grid. so do i really need this piece, or can i just put to flow nozzle on and be done with it? thanks

the grid i'm talking about is a separate piece that's about the size of a quarter (a bit larger, not much), and goes into the flow nozzle. is anyone familiar with what i'm talking about?

I know what your talking about and no you do not ned them it is just protection so your fish or anemones do not get chopped up. But like I said it is not necessary. just my .02

that grid is junk anyway..I usually just toss them in the box and never look at them again.

u can contact the retailer where u bought it from. or contact hydor, but will take 2-3 months. like others hv said, many people dont use that piece.
