hydroid jellyfish?

I have thousands of tiny white specks on my glass. Can't take a picture but they look like pictures I've seen of hydroid jellyfish. Does anyone know anything about these and how to get rid of them?

are they round spiral shaped & hard to scrape off?

They will go away on their own after a while. Just part of a new tank setup.

They aren't necessarily harmful either, just part of a stage in almost every tanks lifecycle.
