hypo all the time

I am doing hypo on a yellow tang and a huma huma trigger. I was wondering if you could hypo all the time, for good. Then you would not have to worry about your fish getting Ick. Would that be dangerous to the fish being that low of salinity for a long time?
I was going to use copper all the time but decided that it would be to dangerous to do copper all the time. I would appreciate any responses to this.
thanks

My LFS does. Beth mentioned, in an earlier thread, that hypo was less stressful for the fish... I'm doing it... <smile>
