Hi all,
Ok, here is my situation. I have a 90 gallon tank with a wet/dry and a canister. I noticed this evening that my box fish had Ick. So I need to do Hypo. I grabbed my 35 gallon rubbermaid and filled it up about 15 gallons of water from the infected tank. I then moved my live rock and inverts into it. I then disconnected my canister filter and hooked it up only to the rubbermaid. I also added a heater. So I want to make sure that my Inverts will be ok in the rubbermaid (I have heard of others doing this) and that my display tank will be ok with only the wet/dry temporarily. I have been told that this will work, but I am still concerned. So I thought that I would ask the experts. Anyway, How long do I need to leave the rubbermaid fish free so that the ick does not have a host? and I guess that I will need to clean out the canister real well before hooking it back up to my display tank... Any Thoughts? Scott
