I am in the first week of hypo and I noticed that some of the fishes fins are lookin a little rough. Anybody know what's up?

Ich makes lots of little sores on the fish but should not cause destruction of the fins. Some of the sores can get infected. Bacterial infections in particular seem to be a culprit with fin and tail rot. Adding an antibiotic (such as Maracyn 2 for SW) while continuing the hyposalinity treatment will often help.
