hypo-fish change color?

I'm still undergoing Hypo. This started a few days ago:
When my powder blue tang scratches against corals only when he eats. Before he eats his coloring is pale. After he eats color changes from pale to dark, then pale to dark until lights go off for the evening. This changing of color happens every so often. No constantly thought the evening.
He is not fighting with anyone. but this is a new behavior. Do you think this could be the gill flukes my flamehawk died from on Sunday?
2nd question:
My percula clown (is a girl) and when she eats for 5 days now, she will take the food into her mouth, then spit it out. So she hasn't really "eaten" for 5 days now. I don't have any idea why. She's been in my tank for 1-1/2yrs. Color is perfect, doesn't act oddly or swim funny. Haven't changed brands of food either. The same food she has always eaten. Why is she doing this and is she ever going to eat again?
PS Terry, you asked me about the size of the flukes: the one large fluke size of medium pellet food, and the 4/5 small flukes size of very small pellet food. They are not round like the pellet, more oblong but very tiny. I can't think of anything else to compare it too except pellet food.
I'm worried I'm loosing my fish...tks for your advice

My powder blue tang is in the 75 gallon MAIN tank I'm treating w/hypo. I put my inverts in the 29gal that I'm changing sm. amounts of water in every other day to keep levels down since that tank is not cycled. Acutally since Anthem mentioned in one of the other posts-the 29gal tank will eventually cycle and for the last week I've noticed ammonia is staying at .25, nitrite is .50 and nitrate is .10. So this little 29gallon downstairs is cycling w/my inverts.
I've been feeding the tang seeweed soaked in garlic extract for a few weeks now. I have not soaked anyone elses food in the garlic. Maybe I should? what do you think? Only feed live brine shimp once in a while. Otherwise it's mysis shrimp soaked in selcon, pellet, and flake food.
Luckily the girl clown finally ate yesterday night. she only scratches once in a while against my air hose/spray bar with her nose/mouth but that is very sparatic.
No I have never used the formalin dips but I have FW dipped. So I have a little experience with some behaviors. I did read up in the BB about Formalin dips so I would feel comfortable if I had to perform them.
As long as you think my powder blue is ok and not sick from his changing colors from pale to dark, etc then I'm not worried.
Thank you for all your help!
