wht are you using to measure the salanity? If your not using a refractometer you may night be getting down to 1.009.

Hypo treatments usually last 4 - 8 weeks.
What are you using to measure your salinity and/or SG?

Yep if your not using a refractometer that would be your first problem I wouldn't even try doing hypo without one.

try chem marine stop parasite . It works great. 5 days and it will be gone . it really works. I will swear by it for life , its reef safe and contains no copper

Can you tell us what you are using to measure salinity? Also, hypo is not effective until after the paraistes drop off.

Mile, when is the last time your fish had ich? Also, the pepper products "can" work, but not with a high rate of effectiveness. Meaning, while it may work for 5 people, it won't work for 20 others.

When you say looking worse, do you mean his is just not the same or is the ICK still visible everywhere?
If the ICK is still visible I would make sure you dropped the salinity to 1.009
If the ICK is not visible and the fish is just not the same, I would use Zoecon and feed with garlic etc..

Question...is 1.009 the magic number...or can you be in the ballpark and still be fine? I dao have a refractometer...and recommend throwing away any hydrometers!

Has to be 1.009 - that is the magic number.
The ich can't live with a salinity so low.

do what you have to do, but this stuff made my Atlantic Blue turn red and die, then beyond that all to fish that didnt have ICH now do. I have a full reef setup and as much work it was to get the fish, LR and coral/inverts seperated hypo is worth it. I tried GREENEX, Kick ICH, Kent RXP (full treatments, didnt have a QT)
