hypo tank

I have to start my first hypo tank in my life. I have a blue hippo tang and two blue w/ yellow tail damsels. What size tank should I get. Also my powder blue tang is covered in ick. Should i freshwater dip it. I love him I don't want to kill him. I need suggestions.

How big is your tang? I think a good size would just be like a 30gal or something, depending on how big your tang is. I don't reccommend FW dips, I think they do more harm than good, but if its a life and death situation then maybe you could try and see if that removes some of the ich, or you could wait and get yuor tank setup.
