Ok I have ich in my 55 gal display tank. I have yellow tang, watchman goby, picasso tigger, valentini puffer, and green mandarine still alive along with 50 lbs of LR and 2" of LS. I reduced the salinty down to about 1.008 using the hyposalinity method in my display tank. My ? is should I take the fish out and put them in a hospital tank i only have a 10 gal and im not sure if its cycled i just set it up. I do not think this is a big enough tank for all the fish or should I just use the display tank to treat them in. If i do move the fish to quarintine tank the ich will move with them and still feed off the fish right? Should i use copper in the Q tank as well as Hypo or will that stress them out? Thanks for all the help

Thanks for the advice. I am using a swing arm right now, it looks like im going to have to invest in a refractometer because the lfs uses swing arm as well.

I finally purchased one and don't regret it one bit... in fact am just fascinated with mine. Suggest you read recent posts about refractometers on this forum for more opinions/info. Good luck, Joe.
