Hey guys if your battling ick in an invert/fish tank. I hear that "HYPOSALINITY" is another method of battle. And if i understood correctly , all this means is to lower your salt levels.
If so, how low should you lower your salt levels??
How long should you leave those salt levels low??
Will that effect my feather dusters, button polyps, rock anenames, snails or hermits ??
All help is greatly appreciated!
:D

Trey is right. Fish treatments [except perhaps garlic, which is kind of a funky herbal treatment anyway] are not compatiable with any system except FO. That means no LR, inverts, corals, etc.
A hospital tank does not have to be a major investment. A tank, powerhead and some places for your fish to hide is all you need. This can be anything from dead coralheads to pvc. Fish don't have to have aquarium lights, so you don't have to invest in a hood and lighting system. You will probably waste more money if you lose your fish by delaying treatment or, worse, lose everything by trying to treat in-tank, then if you setup a hospital for less than $50.
