Depends are what you trying to accomplish.
If it's a treatment for ich, I go with 1.009.

i kept my ich fish at 1.009 for over 4 weeks and when i brought it up the ich was back in 4 days.
i did it a second time at 1.007-1.008 for four weeks and it is now gone.
a 1.009 which is the highest to got for ich treatment is a fine line to watch.my fish were fine in the lower salinity.

Shoot maybe it was 1.009... been a long time since I've had to do hypo.
