my blue tang has ich.
will this hurt other fish and inverts(coals/shrimp)?
can I do this in my main tank without having to go woth a hospital tank?
also how low does the salt need to go?

No, there are no viable treatments for ich in a tank that contains inverts. You will have to remove the fish and treat separately.
