I agree with it too. Does not seem right the way it is now. Interesting to read that the team what wins the coin toss only with 59% of the time. That is pretty close to breaking even. Seems like it would have been more.

I have always disliked this aspect of the game. I wish that it was more of a "shootout", like hockey. Each team will be given the ball. If they run out of downs, the other team has a chance (starting from their 20). And after 3 attempts each way (just like a shootout), then the first one that scores wins.
