trying to do pics someone tell me how to down size it to 500x500 but still get the pic i did it and only one corner of the pic came up how do you just shrink it down so you can see the whole thing any help would be great thanks :notsure:

Here's the program I use, http://www.IrfanView.com, it's free to download and very easy to use. After I open my photo file and choose the photo I want to resize, I resize it to 497(first box, the second auto fills in for proper size.) I use this program for resizing photos for this site. Lisa

the program didn't come up when i clicked it. said can not be displayed. the program i tryed to use was the windows picture viewer and you can downsize it but when you do it just gives you a corner or something not the whole pic

I also have the windows picture viewer on my pc, but always have had problems with it. One of the members on this board gave me the link to this site about a year ago, I will not use anything else now....

thanks i just downloaded it. The site asked me what state i lived in so i looked for maryland and it wasn't there so i typed pa. and picked the nearest city and it worked i am going to mess around with it i thank you for your help

I don't have a whole lot of time to spend on reading manuals and such to learn the programs, with this one I played around with it for a few minutes and was able to get what I wanted on the second try, it just took a little bit of messing around with the size I want to resize the photo to..It is the easiest program I think I have ever used for pictures.
Good Luck and I'm looking forward to seeing some photos...

thanks it worked i posted a couple but they are all right i will try some better ones in the future
