You could get away with only one of the heaters. 2 watts of heater per gallon is sufficient.

Also, your kool rotating powerhead with cease to rotate within a short time :D :D :D
Everything else looks good!

If the cheap water purifier you are referring to is the TWP-tap water purifier I wouldnt. They leach impurities back into the water. I've used them in the past and would link two of them into a chain as a safety measure. It would be safer to just purchase your RO/DI water. Water purity is vital to a reef tank

Ditto the comment about the power head not rotating for long...unless you are referring to a Sea Swirl. Me thinks you are talking about one of those zoomed thingys that konk out with surprising speed in salt tanks.
Good luck with your tank! It is always so fun to set up a new one and watch it mature. :)

Rotating power head>>>>>>>>Well here is our experience with them… They do get clogged with salt. We put the head in a freshwater bath and let them run for an hour once every two months. :D

i only use one heater i use the 100 in the tank and the 50 to heat the salt water in a bucket. and yes i was talking about that TWP but if i have to buy 2 forget it.
and if any of you have a ok RO that i can buy cheap for you i will take it (maybe)
and what kind of water testing kits should i get?
