To an amature it's just two fish close together, so that's why I was asking. With that said, my two clowns sleep close together just like your picture, except they are on their side close to the surface of the water. When morning comes they are swimming around like normal. Does this mean they are a pair?

why do they like the corners?? I thought it was my wave box at first but its not. i have a clown who hangs out in the corner and chases anyone away that comes close ( actually he lets my sailfin hang out but that is it...maybe he has a BIG crush?)
and yes you have a pair.

So would you consider this a "pair"?

Yes, there are two clowns there. I've had them for a week and the first two nights the larger one was at the top of that return and the other was down in the bottom corner. The last five nights they have been sleeping together. So did I get lucky with my first two clowns?!

Great picture, but how do really know that they are sleeping? :notsure:

Well, at least I think they are. They don't seem to move from that spot until morning.
(My last comments were probably out of line so I deleted it.)

Well, mine are apart during the day, but as soon as the lights go out, they both head to the top and stay their until morning when I turn the light back on.
