When I used to come on here years ago I had a thread called bodybuilding advice. I can't find the thread anymore because the back-logs aren't going very far back :(
Anyways, I got a lot of good advice from people on this forum and I wanted to say thank you to those that helped. I can't even dig up the post in order to thank the people personally :( I feel like I made a real change to my life.
I have a couple of embarassing pictures for you to enjoy

First I'll post the before and the rest are after. Sorry that I only have one before, the rest are saved on my PS3 and I don't know how to get them from there to here.. anyways...

Nice body transformation. I have been lifting for a long time but I quit taking it so seriously and now just try to maintain. I also try to change up my workout a lot to keep me interested in lifting. I just finished P90x for the second time and now I am back to lifting weights. However, I have two partially torn rotator cuffs which is not helping. Over the years, I have also got more into intense cardio. My physique doesn't show that as well as I would like since I haven't really changed my diet and I like my beer.

I have a pretty messed up pair of shoulders as well. I have a pretty bad case of tendonitis too; it doesn't seem to ever go away!
My buddy uses P90X and swears by it.

P90X is very tough at first but then you get used to it (around the 8 week mark). It can get kind of boring towards the end but it is a great workout program. I also have the insanity workout program and it never got easy.

I'm not big on the cardio-type workouts. The only thing I did was visit the gym 6 days a week mon-sat for about an hour to an hour and a half each day. Only weight lifting-no cardio.

Its hard to build muscle while doing cardio. If your heart beats to fast for too long you burn muscle not fat. Looking good. How are the wheels lookin? (legs). whats your protien intake daily?

Thanks. I'll see if I can take some leg pics for you. My quads are pretty nice IMO. When I first started I wouldn't do legs at all, and when I started hitting legs twice a week I noticed some really rapid gains. I eat 7-8 times a day and it's usually safe to say that any meal will have 30-40 grams of protein. I was eating almost nothing but chicken and brown rice. On Sunday (my off day) I would eat at buffets or a ton of whole wheat spaghetti. Basically anything I wanted I would eat one day a week.

Yeah. Lifting legs does something to your body. Its very odd. It may release more test. in your system. You look good. Big gains for sure.

A personal trainer at my old gym said that it raises GH levels when you do legs since it's the largest muscle group in the body. Sounds right. Thanks again.

I power lift. I never really got into making myself have a model type body. It has crossed my mind but Its just so much work and I love cake and brownies. Are you looking to maintain or get bigger?

I've already gotten bigger. I never got to the point of having a full 6 pack. In the pic you can see a sort of 4 pack :p I was 178 or so in that pic and I've upped to 208. Now I want to slowly cut a bit down to about 188-190. Going into criminal justice work so I needed some more bulk :p
