i cant get my clown to eat what do i do

I just got a maroon clown yesterday and he will not eat flake or frozen food, when i feed he just swims slowly but does not eat what do i do

also he teds to swim into the current and then get blown away very strange swimmer is this normal

clowns can definitely be strange swimmers....my tomato at first did not eat... he wouldn't eat at all in the QT tank and once I got him in the main tank he ate after a day or two. IME he will begine eating when he feels comfortable in his new home.

he can go little awhile with out eating. I know at least a week. we've left for over a week and come back and our fish were fine. if he's hungry he'll eat the alge. some fish don't eat for the first few days. I'd contiue to try to give him a little but don't worry if he doesn't eat (for now). give him time. he's getting used to where he is.
or call the lfs and find what they fed him, maybe he's not used to the food you're giving him

I just got a tomato clown the other day and he is also not eating, well he ate the first day i had him but now he only "picks" at the food... im concerned this wont stop. This is the path that my black percula took and he died <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> is there anything i can do?? i guess i just need to give this fish some time and see what happens

This is what my Clown did, don't worry. Also, is the tank cycled? Mine acted this way with Ammonia in the water. <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
