So my neighbor gives us this great hex aquarium and last nite we had it in the tub trying to clean it. It was really think with build up from 5 or so years of sitting. It had been fresh water. So my boyfriend went to work this morning and I was rinsing it out and slipped and fell while I was holding it up. The crack up the one side is not sealable and I think I have to replace the whole peice of glass. Its either a 29 or 39 gallon. I can have a peice of glass cut but what type of sealer do I need to put a new one in. I'm not real sure how to get the panel of glass out. Any suggestions??

I would buy a new tank. JMHO
Exactly. Not worth the risk and with that size tank, the expense of getting new glass and seal, is going to approach the cost of new tank.

plus if you don't caulk right, (which is likely) you will come home to 29 or 39 gallons of water on the floor, dead fish, and feeling horrible.
